Managing the classroom is an issue that can cause a teacher anxiety and stress at any stage of their career. Behaviour needs to be taught in the same way as we have to teach our subject. Effective behaviour management involves using proactive strategies to encourage the behaviours we want to see, and reactive strategies to manage poor behaviour when it occurs.
